Saiful Bouquet is pleased to announce that the AC + Moxy Hotels project has been awarded Best Residential/Hospitality Project in Southern California by the Engineering News-Record (ENR). Rising 37 stories and 525 feet above Downtown Los Angeles, this concrete mixed-use tower includes two select-service hotels with 727 guestrooms, 8,600 SF of restaurant and retail space, and 7,200 SF of conference areas.
Designed by Gensler and developed by Lightstone, the project also features a rooftop pool deck, sky lobbies, and a seven-story parking podium. The seismic structural design employed a state-of-the-art performance-based seismic design approach, which involved advanced nonlinear earthquake time-history seismic analysis and independent peer review to ensure optimal safety and resilience. Suffolk Construction was the GC and Largo Concrete, Inc. was the concrete sub.
