Congratulations to Saiful Bouquet’s very own Frank Li, along with Nehansh Saxena from the S/L/A/M Collaborative and Omid Sajedi from CORE Studio, for winning first place at the 2024 AECTech Los Angeles Hackathon hosted by USC! The trio joined an exhilarating, 24-hour race against the clock, where five teams tackled high-stakes real-world industry challenges using cutting-edge technologies and computational approaches. This challenge brought together seasoned professionals and newcomers from the AEC community in a collaborative push for innovation.
Frank’s team developed FAM JAM, an AI-driven plugin in C# for Revit that streamlines family creation based on unstructured data from specs, transforming a common bottleneck into a seamless, user-friendly process and making architectural workflows far more intuitive and efficient.
