Construction is quickly progressing on the new UC Riverside Multi-disciplinary Research Building 1. This design-build collaboration with Hensel Phelps & SmithGroupJJR is providing a new and exciting research facility capable of supporting cutting edge research. The 4-story, 143,000 sf project will include collaborative wet, dry, and computational laboratories, core laboratory support facilities, a vivarium, and space for faculty and academic support. The building, which expands UCR’s research capabilities is expected to be completed by fall 2018.
