Mr. Vernon Gong has over 40 years of professional experience in the industry, including new building design and expertise in masonry and structural glass buildings. He is well versed in the design of large commercial facilities, healthcare structures (OSHPD), higher education, community college, correctional complexes and sports facilities. Mr. Gong has built a strong relationship with both Local and Sacramento OSHPD, which has allowed him to lead a number of OSHPD Plan review projects.
In addition, Mr. Gong has led a number of major civic and justice projects; his ability to recognize the special challenges and criteria involved in the planning, programming, and design of detention centers and correctional facilities have been instrumental in providing cost effective solutions to meet stringent structural requirements while integrating architectural aesthetic features.
