Saiful Bouquet provided structural engineering services for the $22 million project at Antelope Valley College. The new Academic Commons building spans two stories, totaling 34,000 gsf, centralizing and expanding academic support services.
The facility is located centrally on the campus, next to the library and SOAR High School. The structure was designed with steel construction utilizing Buckling-Restrained Braced Frames (BRBF’s) as the primary seismic bracing elements.
