Saiful Bouquet is providing structural engineering services for the new Antelope Valley College two-story 62,000 square foot Student Services Building. This project is under DSA jurisdiction.
The project includes two large tapered canopies at each entrance, an exterior monument sign, an interior feature stair, and two interior pedestrian walkway bridges that connect the separate 2nd floor spaces together. The lateral system of the building is steel special moment frames and steel eccentric braced frames. The exterior cladding is a mixture of curtain wall and metal panel.
