Saiful Bouquet is providing structural engineering services for the proposed new Courtyard Marriott Hotel located in Monterey Park, California. The project site is located on Atlantic Boulevard and Hellman Avenue.
This project is approximately 381,900 sq. ft. mixed-use, 288-key hotel with 6-stories over two levels of subterranean parking.
The subterranean parking and two above grade podium levels will be cast-in-place concrete, with two-way mild reinforced slabs and concrete shear walls. Above the podium will be 3 and 4 levels of steel framing using ConXtech moment frame system. The floor system will be 2 ½” ltwt concrete over 1 ½ steel deck.
