The Indio Family & Juvenile Courthouse is comprised of approximately 67,933 BGSF with 5 courtrooms, related superior court administrative offices & public service spaces, holding area at courtrooms, in custody central holding, and court support spaces.
The court building will be a low-rise of approximately 2 to 3 above-grade floors with one below-grade level that will be primarily dedicated to a delinquency courtroom, central holding, vehicle sallyport, building services and secure parking of approximately 8 stalls. The site (approximately 4.18 acres) will adjoin the existing Juvenile Detention Hall site near the existing Juvenile Courthouse.
