Saiful Bouquet is providing services for the Mt. Sac Heritage Hall building. The one-story building is steel framed, and the roof consists of metal deck supported by steel beams and columns. The columns are supported by conventional shallow foundations.
The Mt. SAC Heritage Hall Education Center will consist of a 2,500-square-foot museum of Mt. SAC sports memorabilia, a 3,500-square-foot, 165-seats, state-of-the-art lecture hall, the Mt. SAC Athletics Hall of Fame and spaces for training and clinics and community events. The display gallery and lobby spaces required long span steel beams to provide column free spaces. The seismic system consists of buckling restrained brace frames.
When the stadium renovation is complete, a reinvigorated Hilmer Lodge Stadium will once again be capable of hosting Olympic-scale events.
