** PRIOR FIRM EXPERIENCE
The Remington is one of the newer high-rise buildings on the Wilshire corridor, being built in 2001. The 24-story Remington Condominium Tower is a magnum opus of architecture and sophistication style inspired by the palaces of Europe. It is on the North side of Wilshire and on the far West of the Corridor giving it some of the best views from either side. It has 93 units. Each unit has private elevator access (only three existing buildings on the corridor offer this feature). It is a full-service building with a pool, gym and lobby that features a library on the ground floor. It is built on rollers and is one of the closest buildings to Westwood Village, literally a short walk. The units vary in size from large two bedrooms and up.
The building was built with concrete construction, with post-tensioned slabs and moments resisting frames as the lateral load resisting system. The tower was built in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The tower uses, stone, marble and wood to create a modern masterpiece.
