Saiful Bouquet is providing comprehensive structural engineering services for the new Computer Science & Math Building at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. This innovative LEED Gold equivalent facility spans 49,400 SF across three stories, integrating active learning labs, faculty pods, and a collaboration resource center. Alongside the construction of the building, the project includes the replacement of the pedestrian bridge, upper concrete plaza, and an existing Green House Building.
Designed to promote seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity, the Science and Math building features three glass pavilions, rooftop terraces, and expansive windows. Specifically tailored for STEM education, the building includes specialized areas such as a cybersecurity lab and an engaging ‘cloud room.’
The building is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
