Saiful Bouquet is providing structural engineering services for the new 2-story 100,525 gsf technology building at San Bernardino Valley College. The project is a learning center for automotive repair, and will provide laboratories, offices and study spaces for the College, along with space which can be used as an automotive show room.
The building is an irregular shape with stepped roofs, sloping facade and a large trellis at the entrance. The lateral system consists of Buckling Restrained Braced Frames (BRBF’s) supported on spread footings.
