Saiful Bouquet is the Structural Engineer for the new 200,000 sf state-of-the-art medical research facility at UCI to support collaborative, interdisciplinary, and innovative research in medicine and other health sciences disciplines. The project includes an approximately 120,000 assignable square foot (200,000 gross square foot) of laboratory featuring wet laboratory and associated support space, research offices and scholarly activity space, vivarium and associated support space, and administrative offices.
The building will be one of the largest in the west and will provide optimal space for core instruction and laboratories to extend advances in medicine and the health sciences and expand the global reach and impact of the campus’ advanced cross-disciplinary teaching and translational research achievements.
